Road Safety

We ask parents to observe the law when parking on roads around school. Road markings have recently changed within the area. Please also park with consideration for local residents.
Parents are asked not to arrive at school too early. We cannot admit anyone onto the school site until we have a member of staff on duty. We have a staggered start to the school day with Year 2-Year 6 pupils arriving from 8:40am. Reception and Year 1 arrive from 8:45am. Doors are open for plenty of time for entry into school and we usually find all children are in school by 8:50am.

Walking Home

Children in Year 6 are able to walk to and from school after a Parent/Carer letter has been received by school. It is the school policy that children can begin walking home from  the beginning of Year 6.

Picking children up from school

Children other than Year 6 should be picked up by an adult or responsible person of age 16 Years +

Any child (Pre-school to Year 6) being dropped off for Breakfast Club or After School Club should be signed in at the door
